Speech and Language Screenings

  • Speech & Literacy Solutions, LLC conducts speech/language screenings for K2 through 8th grade students attending Bayshore Christian School at parent request. The cost for the screening is $50 and will be billed to your FACTS account. The screening will encompass the following area(s):

    Articulation: Is your child difficult to understand or does he/she sound immature for his/her age? Do you hear errors in their speech you are concerned about?

    Language: Does your child follow directions and understand the language of those speaking to her/him? Does your child have difficulty with vocabulary, comprehension, concepts or academic learning?

    Fluency: Does your child stutter?

    If you are interested in having your child’s speech and language skills screened, please complete the form below. You will receive a follow-up phone call, or a letter will be sent home to you notifying you of the results. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at:

  • I hereby give consent to have my child screened by Speech & Literacy Solutions, LLC. I further authorize Speech & Literacy Solutions, LLC to discuss the results with my child’s teacher.

Stephanie Zalich attended the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of Florida.

Stephanie provides private diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients with a variety of speech-language delays and disorders. She specializes in reading therapy for students with Dyslexia and/or students with reading delays. Stephanie is passionate about reading instruction and is a certified provider of the Lindamood Bell Seeing Stars, Lindamood Bell LiPS, and TLC Lively Letters programs. She also works as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public school system. She provides intervention services for children ages 5-14 on general education standards in Title 1 elementary and middle charter schools.

Stephanie lives in South Tampa with her husband, two boys, and crazy dog, Wiley. Her boys are fellow Bayshore Faith Warriors.
