Senior Spotlight: Marlene Paz
We continue highlighting the class of 2024 with a senior whose bright smile lights up every room. Her kind heart is genuine, making her a friend to all. Marlene Paz has been a student here for the past three years, and her sister, Luz, is in eighth grade. She is a member of the Spanish Club and the National Spanish Honor Society. When she is not at school or studying and working on homework, she enjoys painting and drawing.
Marlene has enjoyed every single one of her classes and teachers at BCS. Her favorite class has been and is Bible, and the reason is simple but speaks volumes.
“Bible has been the best. Everything I learn in that class is everything I need to know.”
Mrs. Conley appreciates Marlene’s love for God, His Word, and her relationship with Him, as well as her contributions in Bible class. “It has been a joy to see Marlene’s smiling face in my classes these past three years. She radiates peace and kindness, and her work in Bible class has been excellent! We have been blessed that God brought Marlene to Bayshore.
Throughout the years, the most special moments for her were those occurring during our Spiritual Enrichment Week and our Service, Enrichment, and Travel Week. Making memories with her classmates and Upper Division peers and developing their relationships with each other provided her pure joy.
As she reflects on her time as a sophomore, junior, and senior, she is grateful God brought her to Bayshore Christian School and for the ability to be a part of the Faith Warrior Family. She has thoroughly enjoyed her years on our campus, and her words of wisdom for all are telling of these emotions.
“Enjoy Bayshore. This is a great place to be, to learn about God, and to make friends.”
