The admissions experience at BCS is designed to make sure our school is a good fit for your child, and that your child will experience success.

We have rolling admissions, which means we accept applications throughout the school year; however, here are important admissions dates for the 2025/2026 school year:

  • October 18, 2024: 2025/2026 applications open for all age groups
  • December 1 - 31, 2024: 25/26 Tuition and Fees will be published and re-enrollment will be open for current families
  • January 15, 2025: Admissions Committee begins notifying families about admissions decisions. Applicants can receive notification of the following decisions:
    • Accepted - An Offer of Acceptance is given and the family pays the Acceptance Fee
    • Wait List - There are more applicants than available spaces. The applicant will remain on the waiting list until a space becomes available or the parent withdraws the application.
    • Offer Not Extended - The Admissions Committee has determined the applicant will be better served at another school. The Admissions Committee's decision is final.

Admissions Requirements

The goal of the Admissions Committee at BCS is to determine which students can best be served by the school while furthering our mission and vision. We are looking for well-rounded students who will contribute to our positive school community in different ways. When reviewing student applications, the Committee will review the following:

  • Teacher recommendations
  • Grades, assessments, and other educational details
  • Entrance test results, if applicable
  • Information provided in the student's application
  • Behavior records
  • The mission-supportive nature of the student and family
  • Any other factors that might aid the Committee in admitting students we can serve

Note: The admissions process can take several weeks, depending on the grade level of your student. Make sure to apply in advance to provide the Admissions Committee ample time to complete the process. Applications received close to the start of the school year may not be fully processed before the first day of school.

For students applying for Grades 1 through 12, BCS requires academic records in order to process most applications. You can upload report cards and standardized testing during the application process. This is ideal, as it can save time.

Additionally, a request for records will be sent to your child's current school when you submit the online application. (If your child's current school requires a hard copy of the records request form, which is sometimes the case with public schools, please send this signed form to your child's current school.)

Teacher Recommendations (sent electronically with submission of online application)

Principal/Counselor Recommendation (sent electronically with submission of online application)

Please note: These items are required for students to be considered for admission to BCS. Please use your application account to review the items that have been submitted so you can follow up with your child's current school.

All applicants for grades 2 - 12 will complete the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) during the admissions process. Instructions for scheduling the testing will be sent at the appropriate time during the application process. There is a $200.00 test registration fee per student. You can learn more about the ISEE here. Additionally, THIS BROCHURE provides a great overview of the test details, from preparing to receiving your scores. Specific ISEE preparation information can be found here

All fees associated with the admissions process are non-refundable and are listed here

All applicants must visit the campus before an Offer of Acceptance is given. If the family is located out of state, please contact the Admissions Office for options.

  • Applicants in grades K2 through 5th grade need to schedule a student visit if they did not attend a campus tour. We will contact you with details about how to schedule your visit.
  • The student/family interview for 6th - 12th Grade applicants will be scheduled once the application file is complete and testing results have been reviewed, if applicable.

Our Admissions Committee will meet to determine whether an Offer of Acceptance is made. You will be notified of their decision via email.

If a family has applied for Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Team will meet at this point in the admissions process to determine if a financial aid award will be given. Please visit this page of our website for details about the Financial Aid process.

If an Offer of Acceptance is made, you will complete payment of the non-refundable $200 New Student Acceptance Fee via our Shopping Cart. Once the fee is paid, instructions for completing our online enrollment process will be emailed to you. We are excited you will be joining us!

Following the instructions in our email, you will create a FACTS Family Portal account and complete the online enrollment forms. During this step, you will upload your child's birth certificate, Florida School Entry Health Exam, and Florida Immunization certificate.

Review our New Families page and our Now a Faith Warrior page for information about supplies, Before and After School Care enrollment, etc. Keep checking back for updates!

After the enrollment forms are complete, you are part of the Faith Warrior Family for the upcoming school year. Congratulations and welcome!

Students With Accommodations:

BCS accepts the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA). If you choose to enroll your child at BCS, please note that parentally placed private school students with disabilities do not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the child would receive if enrolled in a public school under the IDEA.

Bayshore Christian School offers reasonable accommodations when a professional diagnosis with supporting documentation from a medical doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist is provided. BCS does not implement public school IEP/504 Accommodation Plans. Enrolled students requiring accommodations will be provided with a Bayshore Christian School Student Support Plan.

While we take pride in our ability to maximize a student’s potential, Bayshore Christian School is not equipped to make modifications to our curriculum, and we do not have the personnel or equipment to make changes to our programs. Bayshore Christian School may provide the following accommodations:

  • Extended time on exams and other high-stakes tests
  • Preferential seating or proximity to the teacher
  • Small class sizes

Accommodations for standardized tests (SAT, SAT Subject Tests, AP, and PSAT) are awarded only by the College Board and by ACT. Bayshore Christian School cannot grant accommodations for these tests; they must be applied for independently and approved by the College Board.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Bayshore Christian School admits students of any race, sex, color, nationality, or ethnic origin and guarantees all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, nationality, or ethnic origin in administration, educational policies, athletics, and other school-administered programs.
