Bayshore Christian School is a private, evangelical, non-denomination Christian school serving students PK2-12th grade. We are located in the heart of South Tampa, close to the Selmon Expressway and MacDill Air Force Base with easy access to the Brandon/Riverview area and St. Petersburg. BCS is widely recognized for its strong academics and Christ-centered environment. Our faculty and staff have all professed a personal faith in Christ and are active members of local evangelical churches. Staff & Seasonal Positions

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise preschool, elementary, or middle division students in the classroom and on the playground. Facilitate learning activities to promote social, emotional, academic, and lifelong skills.
  • Assist in keeping the classroom neat, organized, and attractive.
  • Endorse our Christian education core values found on our website.
  • Hours 2:00 – 6:00 pm on Monday- Friday


Skills:

  • Reliable and positive attitude
  • Preferred experience with children
  • Follow health and safety standards for toddlers, preschoolers and school-age students

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00- $16.00 per hour

BCS is the premier private Christian school in the greater Tampa Bay area and offers a comprehensive college preparatory program including leadership development, academics, athletics, and the arts for students two years old through 12th grade. We are accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and AdvancED.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teacher in creating and facilitating an environment for teaching academic and lifelong skills.
  • Assist in keeping the classroom neat, organized, and attractive.
  • Assist in teaching children language and social skills.
  • Physically help students with toileting needs.
  • Endorse our Christian education core values found on our website.
Skills:

  • Commitment to earn the DCF 45 hours of introductory training (reimbursement provided for cost of training)
Job Type: Full-time 8:00-3:00, Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

We require a CDL with Passenger Endorsement in order to drive the school bus. Please complete a staff application and direct any questions to Head of School, Melanie Humenansky
 
We have a general need for qualified substitute teachers for all grade levels. Once approved, we keep these applications on file with substitute positions filled on an as-needed basis. Applicants must meet all requirements of full-time faculty members. Please complete the staff application, and if you have any questions, contact Mrs. Angie Bailey, Dean of Administration.
