Employment Opportunities

Bayshore Christian School is a college preparatory program for students two years old through 12th grade. Our faculty and staff have all professed a personal faith in Christ and are active members of local evangelical churches. We encourage applicants who are committed to academic excellence in a Christ-centered community to apply.

Teaching Faculty Positions

Upper Division Math Teacher
 
  • Classes could include but are not limited to: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics and Logic, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC
  • 8th through 12th grade students
  • Direct Supervisor - Head of School
  • Full-time, 10-month position (August 1, 2020 - May 28, 2021)
  • Professional Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science in Education/Mathematics or related field
    • Preferred minimum three years teaching experience at the middle school or high school level but not required
    • The teacher has a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
      • Preferred Degree in education but not required.
      • Professional teaching certification preferred but not required. 
        • Applicant’s willingness to sign an intent to earn a teaching certificate in the state of FL within three years of hire.
  • Professional Behavior:
    • The teacher is an evangelical, born again Christian.
    • The teacher will regularly attend an evangelical, Christian church for spiritual growth.
    • The teacher will adhere to Bayshore Christian School's Faculty and Staff Handbook.

Middle School Math & Science Teacher
 
  • 5th through 8th Grade Students
  • Direct Supervisor - Head of School
  • Full-time, 10-month position (August 1, 2020 - May 28, 2021)
  • Professional Qualifications

Substitute Teacher Positions

We have a general need for qualified substitute teachers for all grade levels. Once approved, we keep these applications on file with substitute positions filled on an as-needed basis. Applicants must meet all requirements of full-time faculty members. Please complete the staff application, and if you have any questions, contact Mrs. Angie Bailey, Lower School Principal.

School Secretary

Department: Office/School Staff

Part Time/Morning Hours (Year Round)

Summary: The school secretary reports directly to the administrative assistant and is a member of school staff. The prime responsibilities are to assist the administrative assistant ensuring the efficiency of office operations and to work with the dean of administration to contact and communicate with substitutes as needed. This includes but is not limited to: Daily communication with dean of administration/substitutes, customer service with parents and students, and supporting school staff and personnel.

Specific Responsibilities:
The school secretary will provide administrative support to school staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to handling correspondence, taking phone calls, printing documents, operating office equipment, and maintaining supplies.
