NOTEWORTHY Faith Warriors 

Nicole (Jardine) Kemp

Nicole serves as Bayshore Christian School’s Director of Technology and Academic Program Development!  In March of 2023, she earned her M.Ed in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education. She commemorated this accomplishment at her graduation in Indianapolis in the summer of 2023. She is married to Kyle Kemp, class of 2004, and has two Faith Warriors in Lower Division at BCS. 

 

Amanda Mirabella

Amanda was awarded Outstanding Teaching by a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Education/Business/Social Science category for the University of South Florida’s 2023 Provost Awards. In addition, she was selected as one of Delta Zeta’s 35 under 35 Honorees. Amanda is a PhD Candidate and Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Florida. 

Cameron Prossen

Cameron got married in April! He and his wife, Kenzy, live in Palmetto, Florida, and he works as a power lineman. In addition, the Faith Warrior Family thanks Cameron for his service to our country with the United States Marine Corps.

Madison Moore

Madison graduated from the University of Tampa in 2021. Since then, she has been working for Whitecap Sports Group and was promoted to Director of Marketing and Client Relations.

 

Olivia Dodson

Olivia was named the Children’s Minister at First Baptist Church in Tampa! Olivia graduated from Valdosta State University in 2022. While in school, she received an award for Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Elementary Education. After graduation, she taught third grade in Valdosta, Georgia, and won Teacher of the Month this past school year.

Riley (Johnson) Ellingson

Riley got married in April of 2024. She and her husband, Stephen, live in Tampa. Riley graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Business with Marketing Concentration in 2021. 

Lance Lawson

In May 2023, Lance graduated from the University of Florida. He is now attending the Wake Forest School of Law as a member of the class of 2026!

Alumni of the Year Award

 

The Bayshore Christian School Alumni of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of a deserving alumnus or alumna. The recipient has attained distinction in professional achievements, made significant contributions to society, and demonstrated and upheld the core values and beliefs of Bayshore Christian School. The recipient exhibits integrity, leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism.

This award is a reflection of Bayshore Christian School and provides inspiration and encouragement for our current students. It is to honor alumni whose extraordinary contributions are reflective of their exemplary qualities and how they shine as a true Faith Warrior.

The deadline for nominations is March 14, 2025.  The recipient will be announced and recognized at the Bayshore Christian School Annual Spring Gala on April 11, 2025!  This event will be held at the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
