High school students at Bayshore Christian School are prepared for the "new realities" of post-pandemic college and university life. With the use of technology in our classrooms, your student will be prepared for whatever in-person, hybrid, or online set up his or her college provides.
While our students score in the highest percentiles of standardized tests and earn scholarships to prestigious universities, the real measure of success for our Faith Warriors is how well-equipped they are to meet the challenges of college and the career of their calling.
Students at BCS find an environment that is challenging academically and spiritually. Our college preparatory courses are complemented with Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and on-campus dual enrollment courses.
Your high schooler will choose from a large selection of elective courses to serve the interest of our diverse student body. High school elective categories include advanced computer applications and technology, foreign language, journalism, visual and performing arts, yearbook, and more. For a complete listing of high school courses offered, please see the high school course description guide.
Because we are a Christian ministry, your child will accumulate a minimum of 80 hours of service through a non-profit group. We also afford students the opportunity to participate in international missions work each year.
Outside of academics, we boast six honor societies and a variety of club offerings and varsity sports which compete with the Florida High School Athletic Association (2A Level) and the Bay Conference (10 area private schools). Our award-winning performing and visual arts program is thriving.
Our motto is “Scholars, Leaders, Faith Warriors,” and we strive to have our high school students be the embodiment of that phrase.
