We are pleased to welcome Mr. Anthony Piragnoli, Upper Division English Teacher, to BCS. Mr. Piragnoli graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Editing, Writing, and Media. For the past five years, he taught English to students in 6th – 12th grade at Robert F. Munroe Day School in Tallahassee, Florida. He also served as an assistant football coach for three years. Mr. Piragnoli’s path to the classroom began with a teacher who made a lasting impact and was strengthened by his faith and trust in God’s guidance. “My greatest inspiration for becoming a teacher was my high school English teacher, who instilled in me a love of learning and literary analysis. After many hours spent in prayer, I felt God calling me to pursue a career in education.” His hobbies and interests include writing, reading, and playing sports. He has spent this summer working at Camp Bayshore. A fun fact about him is that he helped more than 20 cats find their forever homes through adoption. Like many, he finds that his favorite Bible verse changes with the different seasons of life. Currently, he is drawn to Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Mr. Piragnoli looks forward to bringing his excitement for English to his students and fostering meaningful discussions that encourage critical thinking while helping students develop a deeper appreciation for literature and the writing process. “I’m excited to be a part of the Faith Warrior family and to share my love for literature and literary analysis. I am passionate about helping students grow not only intellectually, but also spiritually, as they develop both inside and outside the classroom. My hope is that my enthusiasm for teaching will encourage students to engage thoughtfully with the material and discover a genuine love for learning.”
