We are keeping our families up-to-date with the latest Coronavirus information affecting our school community. The State Department of Education has directed all schools in our state to close for two weeks due to concerns over the Coronavirus.
Next week, we are on Spring Break and had scheduled Camp Bayshore. With this most recent recommendation from the State Department of Education, we are CANCELING Camp Bayshore for the week of March 16th. The school will be closed for on-campus learning the week of March 23, and ALL extracurricular activities are CANCELED for the next two weeks, starting tomorrow, March 14th. This includes Shrek rehearsals, flag football, and baseball practices.
We will communicate with our Bayshore families important information within the next few days to address remote learning and the Annual Spring Gala.
Bayshore Christian School is focused on keeping our students and teachers healthy and safe during the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19. Below are recent communications to our BCS community relating to the cautious and vigilant steps we are taking to ensure that safety. To ensure sound and careful decision-making, we are monitoring global and local health organizations, the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), as well as regional, state, and national advisors. This includes staying alert to travel notices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as we head into Spring Break.
