Bayshore Artists Honored
PRIZE-WINNING BAYSHORE ARTISTS…

Congratulations to Taylor Colburn who received a certificate, John Konitsky who received a third place award from the Florida Watercolor Society, and Jacqui Ramirez who received an honorable mention award from the Tampa Museum of Art.
These Bayshore Christian School artists' paintings were accepted in the 11th Congressional District and Next Generation Student Exhibition which is on display at the Tampa Museum of Art from May 1 - 15 in the gallery next to the Degas Exhibit.
The photos are from the Opening Reception, Sunday, May 1st. Taylor Colburn is presented her certificate by Dana Warner, Hillsborough County's Supervisor of Middle and Secondary Art. After receiving their certificates, John and Jacqui were asked to stand beside their award winning paintings.
Congratulations to our Bayshore artist, Jacqui Ramirez, whose photograph was accepted into the University of Tampa's High School Arts 2011 Exhibit. It is a true honor and accomplishment to be chosen for this juried art show.
Jacqui's photograph of an alligator was on display in the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery on UT campus from May 13th until May 26th. Congratulations Jacqui!
