History
Bayshore Christian School, a ministry of Bayshore United Methodist Church, opened in August, 1971 impassioned to see students educated with a Christian foundation enabling them to impact the community and beyond.
The school began in August 1971 with three sections of seventh grade and two sixth-grade classes. Each year another grade was added until the high school was complete. The school now serves students from pre-K2 through 12th grade.
Over the years, additional facilities have been constructed on the 10-acre campus . Most recently, the Early Childhood Facility was built which houses eight preschool classes.
BCS continues to build on the solid foundation laid more than 35 years ago -- it's not unusual to walk onto campus and see staff members counseling and praying with students -- and with the prayers and faithful support of the Bayshore "family,” Bayshore Christian School will continue to minister to students, families, and communities for years to come.
