Meet Our Administration

A Note From our Principal

BCS Friends and Families,

We are now well into the second quarter and weeks away from the beautiful Christmas season. At BCS, we have had an exciting fall season. From the recovery of Irma to our recent production of Lion King, Jr., the middle division Bon Fire Bash, and the lower division’s “Night of Giving”, our students have been busy in the classroom, learning how to fellowship and care for one another, as well as care for those in our local community who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Our annual week of service, enrichment, and travel is upon us. The upper division students are off to Washington DC to serve with the Urban Outreach Center or serving locally at South Tampa Fellowship or the Humane Society. The middle-division students are also off to visit the Nation’s Capital in Washington DC or off to Driftwood Education Center in St. Simon’s Island, Georgia. Our fifth and sixth grade students will be serving at Metropolitan Ministries, learning at JA Biz Town, and assisting our lower division with the annual Thanksgiving feast.

Homecoming is the second week of December, and we honor and celebrate the alumni of BCS on Friday, December 8. We invite all of our friends and families to join us for a night of celebrating the legacy of BCS and the many years to come.

As we move into the holiday season, please take the time to stop and reflect on all of the blessings we have in Bayshore Christian School - a school that is unashamedly Christian, a school that prepares our children for the next level of education and simultaneously focuses on the Biblical worldview to teach our students the truth.

Spend valuable time with your family during the Thanksgiving and Christmas break. Dedicate time with those you love most to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Luke 2:10. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;”.

Holiday Blessings,

Melanie Humenansky
